Dive into homeopathy. Unfold your potential.

“We can do so much more for our patients than make symptoms go away. We can explain that homeopathy not only helps sick people become healthy, it also helps healthy people unfold their potential, deepen their relationship to the cosmos, and expand their contributions to the world.”

— Jason-Aeric Huenecke CCH, RSHom(NA), PHI Co-Founder

PHI Programs

The Prometheus Homeopathic Institute offers professional homeopathic training program based upon the principles of spiral learning, student-centered learning concepts, and growth mindset. Through PHI’s unique curriculum and training, students will experience:

·      Problem-based learning, spiral learning: Students will be challenged with real-life questions to focus their learning of basic facts while being encouraged to dive deeper into their understanding.

·      Multiple approaches: Students will be exposed to a wide spectrum of case analysis techniques so that they can be flexible with the best approach for a particular case and can also discern which approach they might like to study in-depth after they graduate.

·      Active learning: In order to learn skills like conducting a homeopathic interview, analyzing the information, and assessing the ongoing follow-ups, students need a lot of practice. Thus PHI students will have clinical experience from the beginning, regular mentorship, at least twenty independent cases taken, and will participate in both a senior project and case conference.

·      Hybrid learning: Online classroom discussions in real-time, archived lectures, and in-person retreat style seminars comprise the structure.

·      Balancing the practical & the spiritual: Faculty will share the principles upon which they built their practices thus PHI will have an extremely effective practice-management model. Yet the core essence will be teaching students to open their hearts to their patients with compassion and concern, tapping into a higher mind for intuition and inner guidance in their practice.

Simpli-PHI Program

The Simpli-PHI Program is a three year training program for students who are new to homeopathy. The Simpli-PHI Program provides a blend of online and in-person training with over 1400 hours of classical homeopathic training drawing on a wide range of sources. Beginning with Samuel Hahnemann’s Organon of the Medical Art and delving into philosophy, materia medica, case-taking and case analysis, that will enable our graduates to work with individuals from all walks of life, facing the wide range of health challenges unique to the 21st Century.

Students will be taught by dynamic faculty who are CHC-certified and offer the depth and experience necessary in private practice.  You will learn to understand yourself through classical homeopathic education that is experiential, grounded in a growth mindset, and drawing on the current understanding of how to interface with modern allopathic and integrative medicine. This program is both lively and rigorous, emphasizing inner work alongside academic exploration in a mindful and conscious manner.

We offer students a thorough grounding in classical and modern homeopathy and case-taking techniques grounded in loving-kindness and compassionate-inquiry skills necessary to work as a healer, not just a technician.

Classes meet online once monthly for a three day weekend and two additional evenings per month, plus two five day in-person retreats.

The training includes:

  • The philosophy of homeopathy: whole-person healing

  • Mastering the most powerful remedies

  • Case-taking: empathetic interviewing techniques

  • Case analysis: distilling the essence of the person and the health concern

  • Choosing a remedy, potency (strength) and dosage pattern for most effective results

  • Following the stages of the client’s healing journey

  • Joining the thrill of discovering new remedies

  • The human body: the essential aspects for the homeopath

  • Research proving the effectiveness of homeopathy

  • Where did we come from (our history): Eastern & Western medicine

  • Personal inner work, growth practices and exploring ethical questions

  • Practical experience as a student practitioner in our Magni-PHI Clinic

Magni-PHI Clinic

Our Magni-PHI Clinic is one of the things that sets PHI apart from other homeopathic training programs.  From the beginning of their training, our students are observing the case-taking process of their peers.  At PHI, we believe that it is invaluable to observe not only faculty but other students taking cases, giving remedies and beginning to thrive as homeopathic practitioners. Our students tell us time and time again that this method of student clinic allows for an increase in confidence. As they advance in our program, they continue to believe that they can do this. They can be successful and they can go out and practice this amazing medical art.

Our program is based on the growth mindset, which is essential to this clinical experience. It is okay if you are not ready yet to take a case in front of the class. It is okay if you are not ready yet to take an outside case on your own. Our program offers the flexibility for students to grow at their own pace, when they are ready, but with the full support of our faculty and their peers. The Magni-PHI Clinic is a unique place where, as a student and patient, you are seen, heard, cared for and loved. These are the conditions most necessary for growth and learning. We invite you to come and experience this unique opportunity and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the homeopathic clinical experience.

Our Magni-PHI Clinic serves both our Simpli-PHI and Intensi-PHI Programs.

Anatomy, Physiology & Pathophysiology

At PHI, we want you to be ready to get your Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) Certificate as soon as you graduate (and we are currently in the application process to become an ACHENA Candidate School). In order to be eligible to take the CHC Exam, college-level courses in Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology are required. If you need to meet this requirement, we’ve got you covered!

Our 14-month standalone course, Anatomy, Physiology & Pathophysiology (AP&P), is available to any PHI student currently enrolled in a program (Simpli-PHI or Intensi-PHI). The next course begins February 2024. For more information, check out our catalog or request an application below!

PHI Retreats

At PHI, your retreat experience will serve to solidify and strengthen your understanding of homeopathy, healing and yourself. At each week long retreat, which happens twice a year during our Simpli-PHI Program and is an option in our Intensi-PHI Program, you will take a deep dive into subjects like case-taking, self-exploration, practitioner development and homeopathic history. Our hybrid learning model provides you with the flexibility to learn each month from your home and our retreats offer a unique opportunity to learn and grow alongside your classmates with whom you will develop close friendships and long-lasting collegial relationships.
