The First Remedy is Love
The First Remedy is Love. This is the statement that we built the Prometheus Homeopathic Institute on. It has also been the basis for the way we, as founders of PHI, have always practiced.
When we are sitting with a patient, we are working to understand what homeopathic remedy they need. Hopefully we are able to find something that does help them to heal, which is not always a certainty. What is certain, however, is that every single person we interact with wants to be loved.
Love is the universal remedy. It’s the energy that connects and sustains us. Love helps us better see and understand each other. Love helps us break barriers and push through difficult times. Love is what allows us, as practitioners, to continue practicing even when we are weary. Even during a year-long pandemic.
It was during the second year of the pandemic that PHI was born. And everyone certainly needed lots of love then. We set out on a new course to not only teach students how to practice, but teach them how to love themselves, their patients, and each other.
Creating a loving, supportive community of colleagues who will go out into the world to practice, study cases and support each other is our ultimate goal at PHI. The world needs more homeopaths. As homeopaths, we also need each other.
One of our students said recently, “Love is the first remedy. I thought, at first, that it was just a great marketing ploy but you guys really mean it!”
Yep, we really mean it. Love actually is the first remedy.
